Bell tent glamping under dark skies between Bryce and Escalante
Wander Camp Bryce Canyon sits on UT-12 in Cannonville, positioned between Bryce Canyon National Park and the town of Escalante. The camp offers canvas bell tent glamping — a step above traditional car camping, with real beds and linens, but deliberately rustic in feel. Bryce Canyon's visitor center is about 15 minutes north by car, and the town of Tropic is roughly five minutes away.
Each bell tent measures 216 square feet and stands 16 feet in diameter, with waterproof canvas, low-profile windows, and a double-zippered netted door. Inside: rustic furniture, plush beds, and clean linens — enough comfort for a good night's sleep after a long trail day. Tents come with solar-powered lanterns for after-dark use. This is shared-facilities camping: flushing toilets, sinks, and pull showers are available in a communal bathroom block within walking distance of all tents.
A community campfire pit and shared picnic tables give the property a social feel that solo travelers and smaller groups tend to appreciate. The open-sky setting on the byway means genuine dark skies at night — the Escalante/Cannonville corridor is well away from urban light pollution.
The camp is pet-friendly with a per-pet nightly fee. Given the shared-bath setup, it suits travelers who are comfortable with a camp-style experience but want a real bed. Cannonville has minimal services; load up on groceries and fuel in Tropic or Panguitch before arriving.

We had a blast camping with Wander Camp Bryce June 16, 2026. The hostess and host could not have been kinder and more helpful. The bed was comfy , the stars were beautiful and the showers and bathrooms were clean. Don't listen to the bad reviews on this place. It IS A CAMPSITE , there are bugs , it may rain , you may get muddy. Relax and have fun! Thanks for the great experience Jamie,Maddie and Amie

Not glamping we booked 2 nights and only stayed for 1. It was dirty, cheap, and a cash grab for tourists. There were foreigners yelling outside our tent at 2 am. Shared bathrooms that had stuff thrown everywhere. Only decent thing is the view of the night sky. DO NOT GO!!! it is a tourist cash grab
