Two Sunsets Hotel

Refreshed downtown Panguitch hotel with EV charging

(130)
Panguitch, UT

About

Two Sunsets Hotel occupies a recently refurbished 24-room building on North Main Street in historic downtown Panguitch, Utah. Under new ownership, the property has been updated to serve as a practical hub for exploring southern Utah — Bryce Canyon is about 30 minutes south via US-89, and Red Canyon's trailheads are even closer along the same route.

Rooms and Amenities

The hotel's rooms are family-friendly, with air conditioning, private bathrooms, free DirectTV, and in-room coffee makers. Free covered parking is available on-site — useful during Panguitch's cold-shoulder seasons when temperatures drop overnight. The property also features Tesla charging stations with adapters for other electric vehicles, a practical touch for EV travelers on road trips through the region.

Location and Nearby Access

Panguitch sits at about 6,600 feet on US-89, putting Two Sunsets Hotel within easy reach of multiple parks. Bryce Canyon National Park is roughly 30 minutes south, Zion's east entrance is about an hour away, and Cedar Breaks National Monument is less than an hour north. Red Canyon — a less-visited but visually striking spot with its own hoodoos and trails — is only 10 miles down the road. Downtown Panguitch has restaurants and a grocery store within easy walking distance.

Booking Notes

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. Express check-out is available. The central Main Street location means some road noise is possible; request a quieter room if that matters.

What a blessing finding this little hotel in Panguitch. Walking distance to local restaurants, shops and state liquor store. The lady running the front (I am pretty sure may be the owner) is absolutely a very sweet accommodating person. Rooms were immaculate, comfortable and clean. Seemed like everyone in town was just like her. The town could use a socializing environment like a local bar but it seems they may be a little too Mormon for that. The town has amazing potential especially with all the local tourism already here. I will definitely return on another bike trip some day.

Great spot to rest up during our road trip! Spoke to Lori, and she was friendly and communicative. Check-in/out was a breeze and room was very clean! EV charging conveniently available as well. Great stay :)

Booked this place while visiting Bryce Canyon after reading the reviews—and they absolutely lived up to the hype. We had a fantastic stay. Honestly, they deserve a 5-star rating for Lori alone. She went above and beyond in every way—genuinely caring, incredibly helpful, and always willing to make our stay better. A standout moment was when she provided us with an adapter to charge our car, something we didn’t expect at all. That level of thoughtfulness really sets this place apart. The hotel itself may have a few minor imperfections, but they’re easy to overlook given the overall experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there are several great restaurants nearby that came highly recommended. All in all, a very welcoming and memorable stay. I would absolutely choose this place again on my next trip to Bryce Canyon.

Amazing place with friendly staff. The room is clean and it’s quiet at night so it’s a great place to stay if you’re visiting national parks
