The Riverside Ranch RV Park Motel & Campground

Rustic motel offering warm rooms with Western decor, plus casual dining & breakfast.

Hatch, UT

About

The Riverside Ranch sits on US-89 in Hatch, Utah — a small ranching town on the Sevier River roughly midway between Bryce Canyon National Park (about 30 miles north) and Zion National Park (about 60 miles south). It's a genuine multi-format property: motel rooms, full-hookup RV sites, and tent camping along the river, all in one spot. The western-ranch atmosphere carries through from the décor to the on-site Red Dirt Diner.

Accommodations

The property offers 12 motel rooms with Wi-Fi, AC/heat, refrigerator, and microwave. RV travelers have a choice of 21 pull-through full-hookup 50-amp sites (accommodating rigs up to about 45 feet) and 7 river sites with 30-amp service. Tent camping is available along the Sevier River. Pets are allowed in designated motel rooms for a fee.

Campground Amenities

  • Coin-op laundry, hot showers, and restrooms
  • Community fire pits, BBQ grills, and picnic tables
  • RV rec hall and game room
  • Horseshoe pits and a playground
  • General store with firewood and ice
  • Fishing access on the Sevier River

Dining

The Red Dirt Diner is on-site, serving burgers and Southwest-inflected comfort food — useful when you don't want to drive into Panguitch or Bryce Canyon City for a meal. Hatch itself is small, so the diner is one of very few food options in town.

Llegamos cuando estaba la recepción cerrada y dejaron todo muy bien explicado, además de unos regalos por nuestra luna de miel. Son encantadores.

The place is definitely very charming, with its Old West feel. We slept well; the rooms are nice and clean. It's a shame about the breakfast: a choice of coffee or tea, yogurt, and a few apples. I don't think it's a continental breakfast, as stated on the check-in sheet they provided. It would take very little to create a rustic breakfast that reflects the place: a cake, a packet of cookies, and two scrambled eggs.
