About

The Marianna Inn is a 25-room motel on the north end of Main Street in Panguitch, a historic ranching town that sits about 23 miles northwest of Bryce Canyon National Park on US-89. Panguitch is a common base for travelers splitting time between Bryce Canyon, Zion (roughly 90 miles southwest), and Cedar Breaks National Monument (about 30 miles west).

Rooms and Amenities

The motel offers standard queen and king configurations across its single-story layout. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, and cable TV. An outdoor BBQ grill is available for guest use — a practical perk when you'd rather cook after a long day on the trail than drive into town. The motel operates 24 hours with check-in from 1 PM.

What to Know

The Marianna Inn is a no-frills, budget-oriented option. Reviewers consistently note the accommodating on-site owners and the convenient location for park access. Bryce Canyon is about a 30-minute drive on US-89 south to UT-12 east. Panguitch itself has a walkable main street with a few restaurants, a grocery store, and the kind of small-town infrastructure that makes it easier to self-provision than most gateway towns. Shared kitchen access is also available on property. Book at mariannainn.com.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars! I went to the office (very unkept), nobody in attendance. I called out "hello", no body answered. I sat on the couch and finally a woman cam out talking on the phone not even noticing me. She hung up, and I said "hello." She looked surprised to see me. I checked in (I should have cancelled at this point, but their cancellation policy would have charged me regardless.) My room did not match any of the photos on the website. I reserved a king bed and was given cabin 14. What a piece of crap room! The room was very dated and not clean. The walls didn't appear to be painted since 1960; a shoe print was on the floor; the bathroom floor was tiled in wall tiles, making a slippery surface when wet (I didn't even attempt to take a shower); stains on the hand towel, dirty handprints near the wall light switch; the door didn't seal on the bottom and light was coming through (who know how many bugs could get through there?); had to wear earplugs because the neighbor decided to play loud Mexican restaurant music from his truck. I should have gone back to the office and complained but I didn't - just wanted to get out of there, so I left early in the morning.

Cutest hotel in Panguitch! Log cabins with little swinging chairs outside. Service was so friendly too. Comfy beds, clean rooms, some pet friendly and a beautiful view of the mountains outside. Highly recommend.

These are decent rooms, perfect for those tired after a long journey. Simple but cozy. Perfect for a stopover on your trip.
