Henrie's Hitch-N-Post RV Resort

Full-hookup RV base camp, open all year in Panguitch

(421)
Panguitch, UT

About

Henrie's Hitch-N-Post sits on Main Street in Panguitch, about 24 miles west of Bryce Canyon National Park's entrance. It is the only full-service RV resort within Panguitch city limits and operates year-round, giving it an advantage over seasonal competitors in the corridor.

Sites and Hookups

The resort has 70 RV sites with full hookups (water, electric, sewer), available in back-in, pull-through, and pull-through with concrete pad configurations. Large-rig pads can accommodate big rigs that struggle to fit elsewhere in town. Reservations are accepted, and the location is walkable to Panguitch's small downtown strip of restaurants and shops.

Amenities

  • Newly renovated restrooms and showers
  • Large coin-operated laundromat, open to the public 24/7
  • Dog-friendly sites with two on-site dog parks (leash required in common areas)
  • Clubhouse, gift shop, and ATM on property
  • Community fire pit with weekly bonfires hosted by staff
  • ATV/OHV-friendly with trail access nearby

Location and Day Trips

Panguitch sits at 6,600 feet, so summer nights are cool — a genuine comfort compared to lower-elevation parks. Red Canyon is 8 miles east and Cedar Breaks National Monument is about 32 miles northwest, both easy day trips. The resort is also 73 miles from Zion, making it a viable hub for touring the region without moving camp daily.

This one night stay, was a great experience, met some wonderful people from the balloon festival. Greeted with warm welcome. This campground was one of the best I've stayed at in traveling from east to west coast. Clean bathrooms, clean grassy dog park. I would definitely come again. Thank you team..
