Free breakfast, pet-friendly, 25 miles from Bryce Canyon
Econo Lodge Panguitch near Bryce Canyon is a 40-room chain property at 175 Center Street in Panguitch, Utah. It offers a predictable, no-surprises stay for travelers who want a recognizable brand at a budget price point while exploring the Bryce Canyon corridor — the national park is roughly 25 miles south via US-89 and UT-12.
All rooms are air-conditioned and include free Wi-Fi, refrigerators, microwaves, LED televisions with satellite programming, and shower/tub combinations. Desks and hair dryers are standard, and phones with free local calls are available. The property is pet-friendly and fully wheelchair accessible, which sets it apart from some of the smaller independent properties in town.
A free full breakfast is included with your stay — a practical perk when you want to get an early start for Bryce Canyon before the crowds build at the main viewpoints. Free parking and daily housekeeping are also standard. Laundry services and a front-desk safe deposit box are available on the property.
Center Street puts the hotel in the heart of Panguitch, within walking distance of the town's restaurants and a short drive from US-89. From here, Red Canyon along US-89 is about 10 miles east, and Bryce Canyon's visitor center is roughly a 25-minute drive. Travelers heading to Zion, Cedar Breaks, or Escalante can use Panguitch as a central overnight stop on a multi-park loop.

I was a bit disappointed. I stayed at this accommodation last year as well, and my experience back then was much better than it is now. Starting with the room: it was clean, but the bathroom was a different story. Both the bathtub and the sink were clogged, and overall it did not look very hygienic. The breakfast in the morning was also poor, especially by American standards. There was not even any bread to toast or any yogurt available. The only options were waffles and what seemed to be leftover milk from the previous day. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this accommodation.
