About

Bryce Valley Ranch RV and Horse Park sits on UT-12 in Cannonville, roughly 12 miles from the Bryce Canyon National Park entrance. It stands out from typical roadside RV stops because it doubles as a working horse facility — equine corrals and trailer parking are part of the setup, making it one of the few places in the corridor where you can stable a horse alongside your rig.

Sites and Hookups

The park offers a mix of full-hookup sites (30 & 50-amp service with water and sewer), ranging from 75-foot pull-throughs to shorter back-in slots. Picnic tables and fire pits with grills come standard at each site. Free Wi-Fi covers the entire park, and propane fill service is available on-site. A small retail store stocks firewood, sunscreen, and snacks.

Facilities

Three ADA-compliant restroom and shower buildings are spread across the property, each with five private showers per gender — a meaningful upgrade over single-room bathhouses. The park also has a guest laundry, a covered pavilion with a complimentary gas grill, and an outdoor dishwashing station. Families traveling with dogs will appreciate the fenced off-leash dog area and dedicated dog wash station.

Who It Suits

Equestrians riding the Scenic Byway corridor will find few better-equipped stops. For everyone else, the combination of full hookups, solid shower facilities, and a location within easy reach of both Bryce Canyon and the Kodachrome Basin State Park trailhead makes it a practical base camp. Cannonville itself is a quiet town — bring groceries from Tropic or Panguitch before arriving.

Bryce valley rv park and horse park was an excellent place to camp. The sites were spacious and not crowded together. They were easy to navigate into and out of even with my long bed dually and 42 foot fifth wheel. The park was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We fully recommend this campground if you’re in the area.

Every site has full hookups and level. Two horse corrals for each of the equestrian sites with a lot of overflow pens. Round pens to let your horses roll after a long ride or to exercise them if needed. Plenty of trailers to ride to haul out to all the spectacular trails. The staff is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable of the area and all the trails. The owners are equestrians with many years of experience. This a 5 star facility. Definitely a bucket list item if You’re are an equestrian.

Second time staying here with my horse. Both times have been amazing! Wish I could come every year!
