Bryce Glamp And Camp

Geodesic domes with kitchens and fire pits in canyon country

(206)
Cannonville, UT

About

Bryce Glamp and Camp occupies a property on Yellow Creek Road in Cannonville, about 25 minutes south of Bryce Canyon National Park. The site offers ten geodesic glamping domes designed to sit between traditional camping and hotel comfort — you get the open-sky desert setting without foregoing a real bed, private bathroom, or kitchen access.

The Domes

Each dome is a self-contained unit with AC and heat, a full bathroom, a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, and Keurig, plus a 65-inch smart TV and electric fireplace. Beds are described as premium mattresses with a sleeper sofa for additional guests. Outside each dome you get a private picnic table, chairs, a BBQ grill, and a gas fire pit — so the outdoor experience is genuinely usable, not just a token patio.

On-Site Activities

The property includes an 18-hole disc golf course, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and cornhole — enough to keep a group occupied during the hottest part of a summer afternoon. The surrounding desert views of the canyon country are the backdrop throughout.

Nearby Attractions

Bryce Canyon's entrance is about 25 minutes north. Willis Creek Slot Canyon — a popular, easy slot canyon hike — is within a short drive, and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument's trailheads are accessible to the east. Cannonville itself is a small community with limited services, so arrive stocked with what you need.

Absolutely loved our stay. We spent two nights here in June for my birthday. The dome was a great retreat from the Utah heat. The first day we drove to the location from Las Vegas, we drove through a few rain storms and there had been some showers earlier in the day. It made for a chilly night to be sitting outside but I enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and roasted some marshmallows while waiting for the sky to darken. Stars at this location where amazing. We ate at the town not far away and did some hiking near the dome. The host ans his wife were great. If we needed anything they were a text away. We played bean bag toss the second day and bought a souvenir shirt and stickers to remember our time at the dome. The second night the stars were even more amazing. This is the best way to glamp. The air conditioning worked great. The dome was a great place to unwind at the end of some hiking. Check in was super easy, map of the place was provided, a binder of things in the area to do see and where to eat in the dome. Wifi was provided and much needed as we did not have service. They had a check in/store dome. They had any thing you might have forgotten as well as things like s'more kits or frozen dinners to snacks and ramen noodles. If you want a unique stay under the stars near Bryce Canyon that isn't as expensive as clear Sky, this is the place to be. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Jesse made certain all was good for us. The room was large and comfortable with a great view. The stars at night were amazing. The location was fairly remote but with restaurants nearby in Tropic. It was truly glamping.

Absolutely loved the domes and stargazing was insane! Would definitely come again. We came as 2 couples and got 2 domes next to each other.
