About
Piracy Point sits a short walk beyond Farview Point along Bryce Canyon's southern scenic drive, named for two large hoodoos at the outlook that resemble galleons squared off in battle. It's one of the easiest named viewpoints in the park to reach — about 0.4 miles round trip from the Farview Point parking lot, generally flat enough for wheelchairs in dry conditions, and a good option if you want hoodoo views without a long hike.
Good to know
- Start at the Farview Point parking area and continue past Farview itself to reach Piracy Point
- Best visited April through November to avoid snow; the road stays open most of the year weather permitting
- Dogs are not allowed on this trail, per park rules
- Park entrance fees apply
