The namesake arch tucked into the Peekaboo Loop

About
Peek-a-Boo Arch is the namesake formation of the Peekaboo Loop Trail, one of the picturesque stops hikers pass through partway around the 5.5-mile loop below Bryce Point and Inspiration Point. It's a natural opening eroded through a hoodoo fin, close to other named formations on the same stretch of trail like the Wall of Windows, the Three Wise Men, and the Cathedral.
Good to know
- Reached only by hiking the Peekaboo Loop Trail itself — there's no separate short trail or overlook for the arch alone
- Inside Bryce Canyon National Park, so park entrance fees apply and dogs aren't permitted on the trail
- Private stock riders share this trail May 1 through October 31 and ride it clockwise; hikers should yield to horses and mules
- The full loop involves a steep 400+ foot descent from the rim, so plan for a real hike rather than a quick stroll to the arch
