An 8.7-mile climb to the Sevier Plateau's summit

About
The main documented route up Mount Dutton is the Snowbank Trail, climbing the west side of the mountain toward its 11,000-plus-foot summit in the Dixie National Forest. It's roughly 8.7 miles round trip with about 2,400 feet of elevation gain.
What the route is like
- Starts in forest before opening into meadow, then alternates between the two on the way up
- Climbs to a low saddle before the final push to the summit ridge
- Appears on topo maps but isn't a heavily signed or crowded trail
This is remote Forest Service backcountry well north of the park proper — expect changeable alpine weather at elevation, no facilities, and a long drive on dirt roads just to reach the trailhead.
