About
Middle Inspiration Point is the middle stop of three overlooks along a short, steep trail on Bryce Canyon's rim, reached by hiking southeast from Lower Inspiration Point. From here the trail continues south a short distance to a divide, then climbs to Upper Inspiration Point.
What to expect
- Views across the amphitheater's hoodoo fields from partway up the Inspiration Point climb
- A shorter, steeper stretch than the walk up to Bryce Point or Sunset Point
- Can ice over in winter and is sometimes closed in treacherous conditions
Because this sits inside Bryce Canyon National Park, standard park rules apply: no pets on the trail, and traction devices are worth carrying if you're visiting in snow season, roughly November through April.
