Bull Rush Hollow Trail

A wooded hollow in the high plateau country east of Bryce Canyon

About

Bull Rush Hollow is a drainage in the high country near Bull Rush Peak, in the Dixie National Forest backcountry east of Bryce Canyon toward the Table Cliff Plateau. It doesn't turn up as a maintained, signed hiking trail with its own trailhead or visitor information — what's documented in this area is the adjoining peak and a Bull Rush Hollow road corridor used as part of regional multi-use routing, not a built day-hike experience.

Treat this as backcountry forest terrain rather than a destination trail: a wooded hollow in plateau country used more by hunters and off-highway travelers passing through than by hikers seeking it out specifically. Weather at this elevation turns quickly, and the same thunderstorm exposure that affects open ridges and meadows across this part of Dixie National Forest applies here too.
