The Shop Coffee Co

Seriously good coffee and food tucked into a cozy stop along Highway 89.

Orderville, UT

About

Don't let the Sinclair station out front fool you. The Shop Coffee Co in Orderville is the kind of place that stops road-trippers cold, turns a quick gas-and-go into a 45-minute sit, and earns a return visit the next morning. And the morning after that.

The coffee is the real deal. Iced, hot, blueberry matcha, you name it. The food menu punches well above what you'd expect from a spot this size. The pesto grilled cheese has developed something of a reputation, and the adult PB&J earns its own fans. Açaí bowls, almond croissants, breakfast sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies that people specifically mention by name. The kitchen is putting in genuine effort here.

Inside, you've got couches, tables, and stools. Outside seating too. It's comfortable without trying too hard. The bathrooms are clean (a detail that matters after a long stretch of highway). East Zion Adventures also operates out of the same space, so if you're looking for guided tours of the area, ask while you're ordering your coffee.

Orderville sits on Highway 89 between Kanab and Mount Carmel Junction, which puts The Shop right in the middle of a well-traveled corridor. Zion National Park is about 40 minutes west. Bryce Canyon National Park is roughly an hour and a half north. If you're running the southern Utah loop, this is exactly the kind of stop that makes the drive feel less like transit and more like the trip itself.

You can stop at this cute little shop on the way to Bryce. You'll need to use the restroom at the gas station next door.

Nestled on US 89, this charming little sandwich and coffee shop serves as a delightful stop on your journey from Bryce Canyon to Zion National Park. Their sandwiches are of exceptional quality, accompanied by a packet of chips. They offer a wide range of options, including vegetarian choices. The cappuccino was freshly brewed and delicious. Everything here is fresh and delicious. The service is also very polite and attentive. I highly recommend this place!
