Subway
Casual counter-serve chain for build-your-own sandwiches & salads, with health-conscious options.
About
This Subway franchise on North Main Street in Panguitch is the northernmost outpost of a recognizable sandwich chain along the US-89 corridor before you head toward Bryce Canyon. It operates out of a Silver Eagle fuel stop, so you can fill the tank, grab a made-to-order sandwich, and get back on the road in a single stop. Panguitch is about 24 miles from the Bryce Canyon entrance — a reasonable last-stop option before heading into the park's limited food options.
What to Expect
The menu is the standard national Subway lineup: footlong and 6-inch sandwiches, wraps, and salads with the full range of proteins, vegetables, and sauces. There are no local specialties or regional twists. The location accepts the Subway app for mobile ordering, and curbside pickup is available. Hours run approximately 8 AM to 9 PM daily, though confirming hours before an early-morning departure is worth a quick check, as small-town franchise hours can shift seasonally.
Practical Notes
For travelers on a budget or with picky eaters in the group, Subway covers the basics reliably. Dining options inside Bryce Canyon National Park are limited to the lodge restaurant and a snack bar at Ruby's Inn, so stocking up on food in Panguitch before entering the park makes practical sense. The combined fuel stop and sandwich shop keeps the logistics simple when you're managing a road-trip schedule.

I go here often (not many places to eat around here) and the staff is always friendly, the food is as good (good as any other subway I’ve been to), the atmosphere is as good as it can be for being in a gas station. This subway actually does a good job and is a reliable place to eat in the small town.
