Sky Nova Cafe, Bar and Grill occupies a striking position inside Clear Sky Resorts on UT-12 in Cannonville, about 15 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park. The dining room is built around a 28-foot wall of glass, one of the largest such installations at a restaurant in the country, framing panoramic views of the surrounding canyon landscape while you eat.

Menu and Hours

The kitchen runs a breakfast service and an evening dinner menu, with grab-and-go options available for lunch. The menu draws on local Utah ingredients and changes seasonally. Breakfast runs from 7 AM to 11 AM; dinner service runs from 5 PM to 10 PM daily. The bar is open alongside dinner service, making it one of the few full-service evening dining options in the Cannonville–Tropic corridor.

The Setting

The celestial-themed interior — open beams, dramatic glass, views of the night sky once the sun drops — is a deliberate counterpoint to the typical southern Utah diner. Guests staying at Clear Sky Resorts have direct access, but the restaurant is open to non-resort guests as well.

Practical Notes

Cannonville is a small town; Sky Nova is one of the few full-service restaurants within close range of Bryce's south rim area. If you're driving Byway 12 and want a proper sit-down dinner rather than fast food in Bryce Canyon City, this is worth the short detour off the main corridor.
